'Having played finals does not guarantee you a win'

Three of the most important figures at Atletico Madrid, Diego Godin, Gabi Fernandez and Diego Pablo Simeone, were among those who analysed the final against Olympique de Marseille in a press conference in Lyon.
Atleti are heading into the game with plenty of experience, having already claimed the Europa League title in 2010 and 2012, although for Godin their history is not relevant. The Uruguayan said: ''Having played finals does not guarantee you a win.''
The defender, who will feature in the starting lineup, said that squad have been working to minimise their rivals' advantages, which he claims are numerous. ''Marseille have strong individuals in their squad, particularly in midfield.''
For his part, captain Gabi spoke of using ''humility and hard work'' to achieve their goal, he also noted that they could draw on previous heartbreak to fire themselves up. He said: ''We are a team that knows how to suffer and it is one of our greatest strengths.''
Gabi, also finally addressed speculation surrounding Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman is tipped with a move to La Liga rivals Barcelona. Gabi said: ''We hope that it will not be his last final [with Atletico], because we need him.''
