Guinea will reportedly be the 3rd African country to cancel their league after Angola and Kenya. It seems that the competition would be cancelled with no winner being named. There will also be no promotions or relegation.

The Guinean Football Association have reportedly confirmed the cancellation of their league as a precautionary measure because of the terrible coronavirus pandemic that is affecting everyone.

They would be the 3rd African country to cancel the league because of COVID-19, after Angola and Kenya, according to 'TMW' on Friday.

Furthermore, the Twitter account specialising in football all over the world, 'Futbol Mundial', confirmed the cancellation of the competition, at the same time announcing that there will be no champion, promotions or relegations.

Guinea find themselves in the 4th stage of the pandemic, with an increase in community transmission of the virus. The rapid spread of the pandemic continues unabated.
