The 'Principito' is back on the scene. A little more than 2 months after announcing his retirement, Andres Guardado returns to the pitch with Leon, with whom he will play in the new Club World Cup.
In addition to the imminent signing of James Rodriguez, the Mexican club has managed to convince Guardado to stay on for 6 more months, play in the 2025 Clausura and the new tournament in the United States.
One of the most important players in the history of Mexican football, therefore, will be active for 6 more months. He has made this public through a video on social networks in which he appears returning to the pitch accompanied by a child.
“The return of the Little Prince,” wrote Leon to announce Guardado's return. Now, he will have to get to work again, as the Mexican club will face its first match of the Clausura on January 18th.
