Griezmann 'the most important player' Atletico have, says Simeone

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone said on Saturday he saw Antoine Griezmann "much more relaxed, much more himself" in the 3-1 win over Girona, warned that his side still have to "look" up and down in the Champions League race in La Liga EA Sports and said that winning is "tranquility".

"We are happy with all the work Antoine did. It seemed to me that, despite the effort he made in the Champions League game, today I saw him much more relaxed, much more himself. We need him like that. He is the most important player we have. We want him to be able to give us everything he has in this final," he told the press conference at the Civitas Metropolitano.

"I was very pleased that everyone who was able to help in the match was committed to what is happening to us. For those of us who live in football, these are very beautiful weeks, tense, with pressure, with responsibility, with excitement, with the desire for things to happen. For that you have to give your all and then let it be what it has to be", he explained.

"We are going through this period with the people involved. Correa went from less to more, playing a pretty good game, important, with calm, transmitting good energy; Morata came on well; Riquelme also went from less to more; Mario (Hermoso) came back from injury very well and that gives us more possibilities for everything that's left," he concluded.
