Granero leaves Espanyol and joins Marbella

Marbella have made yet another signing this January. After getting Juanmi Callejon from Bolivia, they have now got the Espanyol player Esteban Granero.
Espanyol first announced that one of their main players had left. "The footballer from Madrid has reached an agreement with Espanyol for his contract to be terminated. The contract was due to end on 30th June," the Catalan outfit wrote.
Espanyol wanted to "publicly thank Granero for his professionalism, commitment and involvement, which have made him become one of the players most respected by the fans."
Minutes later, Marbella made the signing of Esteban Granero official. He will be at the Andalusian side until at least June 2021.
Marbella are building a top quality team to fight for promotion to Segunda. It is worth remembering that at the beginning of the month, Juanmi Callejon arrived after becoming a star in Bolivia. Now an ex-Real Madrid, Espanyol and Real Sociedad player joins them.
