"Gonzalo is playing very well, but we're ready to see Kylian now"

Aurelien Tchouameni, the French player for Real Madrid, highlighted the growth of the Madrid side in the Club World Cup, warning that "now every match will be a final", the first being in the round of 16 against Juventus.
"We played a good match, we followed the plan and it's a good victory. We are comfortable with and without the ball, in the systems we are playing and we are improving. In the round of 16, we have to play against a team from Europe, we know that now every match is a final. The next one is against Juve, we have to recover and prepare for it in the best possible way," he said in the mixed zone.
Xabi Alonso praised the figure of Tchouameni, assuring that he is "a pillar" of the team. Against Salzburg, he opted for the Frenchman as a third centre-back in the debut of the new system from the start.
"There are many pillars in the team, we have an incredible squad and a great attitude. We want to win every match and we are improving. There are many finals left to play until the final," he said.
Tchouameni dismissed that his teammate Antonio Rudiger is suffering from an injury and acknowledged that he was substituted as a precaution. "He is fine and will do the same treatment as the rest because we have many matches."
And praising the level of Gonzalo Garcia, who scored his second goal in the World Cup in three matches, he wished for the return of his compatriot Kylian Mbappe in the round of 16.
"We are really looking forward to seeing Kylian again. He is an incredible player. Gonzalo is playing very well but we are ready to see Kylian now in the coming days in the team," he concluded.
