Maxime Gonalons seem set to join Torino in the near future. The midfielder, who had an unfortunate season during his loan spell with Sevilla, will return to Serie A, but will leave Roma for another loan spell.

According to 'TuttoSport', Torino and Roma are closing in on a deal for Maxime Gonalons, with the French midfielder set to join Torino on loan.

The loan deal will include an option for Torino to buy the former Lyon captain, although the amount they will need to pay is unknown.

The only wish for the French footballer is to be able to return to playing football and becoming a more important player, after a season at Sevilla in which he played just 13 matches due to injury.
