GOAL: Gundogan wastes no time with FA Cup's fastest goal

What a start! We all knew this would be a huge match-up. City are looking to take another step towards their historic treble and United are trying to defend the honour that only they hold in English football.

City have come out all guns blazing though. Just 16 seconds after the first kick-off, Ilkay Gundogan rockets the ball into the top corner, hammering his volley on the first touch from outside the area. 

City's number '8' gives his side the lead with a shot that David de Gea stood no chance against. United now face an uphill battle for the remaining 89 minutes, after conceding the FA Cup's fastest ever goal.

If City hold onto their lead, Inter Milan in Istanbul will be the only thing standing between them and the treble.
