Girona expect low offer from Barca for Aleix Garcia

Barcelona are still interested in signing Aleix Garcia for next season. According to 'Mundo Deportivo', Girona are awaiting a low offer for their player from the Catalan giants, although there is still no formal proposal.

Aleix's release clause is 20 million euros, but the Girona club and the Catalan's entourage do not believe that Barca are willing to reach such a figure. Indeed, in Barcelona, it is said that this amount is lower.

Moreover, Girona's president, Delfí Geli, explained weeks ago that they want, "above all else", to keep the players they have "today". He also assured: "In the end, there is only one clause that can make a player leave (the release clause).

The Catalan media reports that, from Barcelona, the signing of Aleix Garcia is seen as possible if Joan Laporta manages to activate another lever or find another source of income. This is one of FC Barcelona's wishes for the summer transfer window.

However, Aleix is a fundamental part of Michel's schemes, so his departure will not be easy. The player from Ulldecona has played 33 games this season, scoring three goals and providing six assists. In addition, he has been one of the most outstanding players in a Girona team that, at times, has been able to dream of winning the league.
