According to 'Bild', Bayern Munich will move for Borussia Monchengladbach's Matthias Ginter after the failed bid for Andreas Chritensen. The German centre-back is at the end of his contract with his current club and has no intention of extending it any further.

Bayern Munich is always one of the teams that are in the running for the top players of the moment. However, the plan does not always work out as expected and they have to change their target.

According to 'Bild', after the frustrated signing of Chistensen, who is a step away from Barcelona, the Bavarian team will go for their 'option B'. This is none other than Ginter, who finishes his contract with 'Gladbach in June.

The Danish centre-back was the main candidate to reinforce the backline after the future free departure of Süle. However, the Teutonic board have prepared themselves and will also make a move at zero cost.

Ginter has no intention of extending his contract with his current club, where he will spend five consecutive seasons. The centre-back is a permanent fixture for Hütter and has made a total of 25 appearances so far this season, all of them starts.
