Gibbs replaces injured Bertrand

Bertrand left the field in the first half of England's 2-0 victory over Malta and was replaced by Danny Rose.

The Southampton player has since been replaced by Kieran Gibbs in the England squad.

Gibbs has struggled for game time this season and has only started one game for Arsenal, which came in the EFL Cup.

The Arsenal man has 10 England caps to his name and is unlikely to add to that unless Tottenham's Danny Rose suffers an injury during England's World Cup qualifier against Slovenia.
