Getafe host Real Madrid as Los Blancos chase Barcelona

Real Madrid visit Getafe at the Coliseum on Wednesday night in a crucial La Liga match in their title race. Los Blancos are second in the table with 69 points, having moved to within four points of leaders Barcelona after their late agonising win over Athletic Bilbao.

Carlo Ancelotti's side must win all their remaining games to keep the pressure on Barcelona, with Barca's victory over Mallorca on Tuesday extending the gap between the two giants to seven points. The home side will be without Uche, suspended after his sending-off against Espanyol, and Allan Nyom remains an injury doubt. Diego Rico returns after serving his suspension, which strengthens Bordalas' defensive options. Real Madrid have several absentees: Carvajal and Militao are long-term absentees, while Mendy and Mbappe are major doubts for the game.
