Getafe boss Bordalas plays down Sevilla talk

Speaking at a press conference, Bordalas addressed the reports linking him with a move to the Andalusian club and stated that, for him, the future is simply the next match.
"My only focus is Friday's match, nothing else. My mind is on each training session and on preparing for every game. I don't give any thought to my future. My future is the next match," he said.
The Getafe boss, reportedly among the top contenders for the Sevilla bench alongside Girona's Michel, firmly dismissed any distractions regarding his long-term plans.
"The foundation of the future lies in the present—doing things well now to secure a good future. But right now, the future is Getafe, and my future is Friday's match," he reiterated.
Bordalas also previewed the trip to Vallecas, where his side are aiming to halt a run of three consecutive defeats and secure three crucial points that would likely guarantee their survival in La Liga.
"We've had time to prepare for the game. I can feel that fatigue is beginning to take its toll—the season is long, and we’re entering the most decisive stage. But I'm pleased. We've had time to get ready for what will be a very tough test against Rayo Vallecano," he concluded.
