Gerrard offered MK Dons manager's job

The Liverpool legend recently left MLS side LA Galaxy, but said that he had a number of options, some of which would see him continue playing.

One surprise option, which emerged earlier this week, was that the 36-year-old was in talks with League One club Milton Keynes over the vacant manager's job.

There has since been a development in the situation and Gerrard has allegedly been offered the job, according to 'Sky Sports'.

Gerrard will reportedly make a decision on Monday as to whether he wishes to accept the offer.

MK Dons have tendency to hire inexperienced managers in recent years, having given the likes of Roberto di Matteo, Paul Ince and most recently Karl Robinson chances in management.
