Gabri Veiga will be at Balaidos this weekend. Celta Vigo will present him with the Manuel de Castro trophy to honour him as the team's best player for 2023. Spain Under-21 international Gabri Veiga, who is recovering in Porto from the ankle injury he suffered with Al-Ahli, will receive the Manuel de Castro award, which recognises the best RC Celta player of the year 2023, on Sunday at Balaidos.

Before the match between the Galician team and Rayo Vallecano in La Liga, Juan de Castro, who is the grandson of the founder of the Manuel de Castro Handicap Club, will present the award to the player.

During the 2022/23 season, Gabri Veiga made 36 La Liga appearances for Celta, scoring 11 goals and providing four assists. In addition, the midfielder scored the two goals that gave the Spanish team salvation on the last day of last season after defeating FC Barcelona at home.
