Fulham start process of trimming down huge squad

While much ink has been spilled over the amount of incomings to Craven Cottage this summer, little attention has been paid to the lack of departures that have accompanied that.
12 players have been added to the squad with five of them coming in on deadline day alone, while only Ryan Fredericks and David Button had been moved on permanently.
With the transfer market's closing meaning that no more permanent deals can be made, Fulham have gone some way to reduce their huge squad by utilsing the loan market.
Magnus Norman could have been back-up goalkeeper at the club, the signings of Sergio Rico and Fabri meant that he was fourth in the pecking order and will therefore join League One Rochdale on a 6 month loan.
Meanwhile, fellow fringe player Marcelo Djalo has joined Spanish outfit Extremadura on a season-long loan deal after he had little chance of getting any minutes on the wing.
Slavisa Jokanovic will undoubtedly want to move on more players before the loan window shuts at the end of August.
