Former Atletico man Thomas slams Herrera penalty call

Despite having left for Arsenal this summer, Thomas still has affection for Atletico Madrid. The Ghanaian follows his old side closely as we saw this Tuesday.

After Gimenez had put Atletico Madrid in front, Lokomotiv Moscow levelled from the penalty spot. A handball by Hector Herrera was picked up by the VAR and the spot kick was scored.

Thomas, on his official Twitter account, was furious with the VAR. "VAR", he wrote. He also included some emojis to express his anger with the French referee's decision.
