Foden puts Man City ahead of Huddersfield Town at the Etihad Stadium, Julian Alvarez adds the second

Phil Foden gives Manchester City the lead in the FA Cup third round tie at the Etihad Stadium. The goal started with a pass from Kovacic that found Julian Alvarez inside the box for the Argentine to feed Foden inside the box to fire into the net for the opener in the 32nd minute of the game.

Julian Alvarez added the second just four minutes later, after a one-two between Matheus Nunes and Foden, the Argentine striker fired home from inside the box to put the Sky Blues two goals up and put the tie beyond doubt.

If this continued Manchester City would have no trouble securing a home win to qualify for the next round of the FA Cup and start preparing for the next Premier League game against Newcastle United.
