Flick confirms commitment to Barca and highlights key roles for Kounde and Fermin

Hansi Flick addressed the media ahead of Barcelona’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Inter Milan, reaffirming his intention to remain at the club next season. “I think I will coach the team next year. I have a contract until the end of next season and I am very happy here. I love this team,” said Flick.
The German manager praised Fermin Lopez’s recent performances, describing him as “always an option for us” and commending his impact off the bench in the Copa del Rey final.
"Fermin is always an option for us. On Saturday I didn't put him in the eleven, but he did a fantastic job from the bench. He's a great player with and without the ball. He's always at his best. He's at a great level and we need him.
Jules Kounde also received special mention, with Flick calling him “a very professional player” and emphasising both his defensive reliability.
"He's a very professional footballer. In addition to what he gives in attack, it's very important for me how well he defends. He knows how to manage situations very well. In the final, in the action of the goal, I was surprised at how he jumped into the pressure and that he got to the ball. He's a very important player for us", he claimed.
