Fiorentina confirm Kean in hopsital for checks after collapse

Horrible scenes at the Bentegodi as Moise Kean had to be stretchered off the pitch 66 minutes into Fiorentina's 1-0 defeat to Hellas Verona on Sunday in Serie A.
The 'Viola' forward suffered a blow to his head in the 60th minute of the game as his face made contact with Verona defender Dawidowicz's knee mid-fall. Despite it looking like a serious injury, the 24-year-old was allowed back on the pitch after receiving treatment from the Fiorentina medics.
However, just minutes after rejoining the field with his teammates, Kean collapsed on the floor as goalkeeper De Gea was getting ready to take his goal kick. Players from both sides immediately spotted the No. 83 go down and understood the gravity of the situation as they waved frenetically to call for help from the sidelines.
The game was stopped to allow the former Juventus and Everton player to exit the pitch with the help of a stretcher. Kean was conscious when he was escorted out of the stadium and to a local hospital via ambulance, as Fiorentina issued a statement confirming that the player was undergoing checks in the hospital.
