Figo rules out Madrid for UCL: "City or Bayern are favourites"

The Portuguese ex-Real Madrid and Barcelona man Luis Figo said that his "favourites" to win the Champions League this season are Manchester City and Bayern Munich, although he did admit that "you can never count out" Real Madrid.

Figo, who won one Champions League trophy with Real Madrid, gave his opinion on how this season's edition is going.

"In the Champions League, you can never rule out Real Madrid, but my favourites are Manchester City and Bayern Munich. Inter Milan have it a bit harder and they're lower down on my list of potential winners", Figo said.

In fact, Man City and Bayern are going head-to-head int heir UCL quarter-final, with the first leg being played at the Etihad. As for Real Madrid, they'll be taking on Potter's Chelsea at the Bernabeu just a day later.
