FIFA named Club World Cup best XI

Chelsea were crowned champions of the first Club World Cup under this new format. The Blues overcame Paris Saint-Germain and as a result, Enzo Maresca's team is in FIFA's ideal eleven along with Luis Enrique's players.
On the left side, Marc Cucurella, one of the four players from the London side present. Gonzalo García also appears. The Madrid youth player surprised by taking Kylian Mbappe's place throughout the tournament and even joined him in the semi-final, becoming the tournament's top scorer. As a result, he is the only Real Madrid player present.
Meanwhile, on the PSG side, there are three players who perhaps would have been one more like Desire Doue had they won. In fact, the French winger was voted Best Young Player of the Tournament by FIFA, but was left out in favour of Pedro Neto or Cole Palmer, finally named MVP of the Club World Cup. Here are more details on the members of the ideal XI for international football's governing body:
GK - Yassine Bono (Al-Hilal)
The Moroccan goalkeeper held Al-Hilal to the quarter-finals with memorable performances, especially in eliminating Manchester City. He was the goalkeeper with the most saves (35) and goals saved (7.22).
RB- Achraf Hakimi (PSG)
The PSG right-back was a dagger throughout the tournament with the exception of the final. He scored two goals (Seattle Sounders and Inter Miami) and assisted against Bayern in the quarter-finals and Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
CB- Marquinhos (PSG)
Except against Botafogo and Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain remained unbeaten. In other words, they kept five clean sheets in seven matches. Thanks in no small part to the sturdy Brazilian centre-back, who ended up missing his partner Willian Pacho.
CB- Thiago Silva (Fluminense)
A decade after they parted company, Marquinhos and Thiago Silva are back in the same team, this time the ideal World Cup squad. At 40 years of age, the former captain of the Brazilian national team - where he stopped playing in 2022 - has been key in 'Flu's' path to the semi-final.
LB - Marc Cucurella (Chelsea)
The final should have tipped the balance in favour of the Spaniard. Nuno Mendes had been by far the best, but his mistakes against Malo Gusto and Palmer sentenced him. Cucurella, meanwhile, was very consistent and made some crucial anticipations to win the title.
RW- Cole Palmer (Chelsea)
He was voted Best Player of the Club World Cup by FIFA. The Englishman had not had a good second half of the season, but he came back in the United States generating play on the right flank. He assisted against Benfica, scored against Palmeiras, and scored twice and assisted against PSG, scoring all three of his team's goals.
CM - Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea)
Moises Caicedo could also have been there, but FIFA chose Enzo Fernandez who was the top assist man at the World Cup (3). He was physically unstinting and led the Blues' midfield with good judgement.
CM- Vitinha (PSG)
One of the greatest midfielders on the planet in 2025. Soul of Paris Saint-Germain. The one who directs the times from the base. He scored in the debut against Atletico and assisted against Seattle and Inter Miami.
LW - Pedro Neto (Chelsea)
Remarkable World Cup for Neto, key first to Portugal winning the Nations League and now in leading Chelsea to the title. He stood out especially in the group stage, where he scored against LAFC and Flamengo, and in extra time in the round of 16 against Benfica.
ST - Jhon Arias (Fluminense)
The Colombian did his best to lead Fluminense to the Club World Cup semi-final on a difficult road. He scored and assisted against Ulsan Hyundai, but those were his only numerical contributions. Everything else was intangible in knocking out Inter Milan and Al-Hilal.
ST- Gonzalo Garcia (Real Madrid)
Positive surprise of the Club World Cup. Xabi Alonso gave him the opportunity in the absence of Mbappe and he responded with good back play, vision and positioning. And with goals, of course. He scored four and provided an assist, which earned him the award for top scorer of the tournament.
The Moroccan goalkeeper kept Al-Hilal going until the quarter-finals with memorable performances, especially to eliminate Manchester City.
The PSG right-back was a livewire throughout the tournament, with the exception of the final.
Except against Botafogo and Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain remained unbeaten.
Five years after separating, we see The final must have tipped the balance in favour of the Spaniard. He was chosen as the best player of the World Cup by FIFA. Moises Caicedo could also have been there, but FIFA chose an One of the great midfielders on the planet in 2025.
