Fati almost scored a goal and asked for a pen on debut

The time had come. It was time to see Ansu Fati on the field of play with a Spain shirt on after gaining Spanish nationality and replacing the injured Carles Perez in the squad.
Coach Luis de la Fuente brought him on in the 78th minute when he took off Cucurella, one of the goalscorers in the match away to Montenegro, and history was made. Ansu Fati is the second youngest footballer to make his Spain debut only before Bojan.
And in just 15 minutes, he had to time to make his mark. With his first touch of the ball, he dispossessed a defender from a corner, but then misplaced the pass.
The Barca man seemed comfortable and looked good on the field of play. He touched the ball, did not make things overcomplicated and was even close to scoring.

Ansu Fati made an individual move inside the box and fell. He asked for a penalty which was not given. That would have been the icing on the cake.
Then, the young striker participated again in the last play of the game. Ansu Fati was on his own, he hit the ball hard and Djukic saved it as well as he could, seemingly with his feet.
If the ball had gone to the side of the keeper, Ansu Fati would have been celebrating his first Spain goal on his debut. He impressed in very little time.
