Fans praise Confederations Cup organisation

Ahead of their Confederations Cup opener, Cameroonian players and fans alike would have been forgiven for approaching the game with trepidation. The host stadium for the game, Sartak Moscow's Otkyrtiye Arena has been the backdrop for several alleged incidents of racist abuse in recent years. Both Hulk and Emmanuel Frimpong are alleged to have been victims of such abuse.
However, in an interview with 'Sky Sports News HQ' Cameroon fans have praised the Russian organisers saying that "The reception is very good and there have been no problems".
Meanwhile French raido journalist Aly Keita admitted that he "can only say good things at the moment about Russia and the competition".
Chilean fans also backed-up their Cameroonian counterparts, with one saying that "I have seen no issues of racism. It's been very enjoyable and I've been made to feel welcome."
Despite the positive early reviews, Russia still has a lot to prove before it welcomes next year's World Cup.
