Everton join race for Sevilla's Juanlu Sanchez

The 21-year-old, who is expected to leave the Andalusian club this summer, is now the subject of interest from several European sides — with Napoli and Wolves already in the running.
The transfer window has been a slow burner for Sevilla so far. With only two arrivals and Suso the only confirmed departure, the club's business has been limited. However, Juanlu's situation remains one of the key stories at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.
Despite being seen as an important figure at the club, Sevilla appear increasingly open to a sale. The Spaniard is understood to have a pre-agreement in place with Napoli, but the Serie A side have yet to finalise terms or make a formal offer — leaving the door ajar for Premier League clubs to pounce.
Wolves were the first English side to make a move and are believed to have reached a broad agreement with Sevilla. But now Everton have entered the fray, keen to strengthen at right-back ahead of the new campaign.
Sevilla are reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of €20 million. With growing interest from both Italy and England, the Andalusian club may now look to maximise their return by accepting the most lucrative bid for the Montequinto-born defender.
The situation is developing quickly — and the race for Juanlu Sanchez is wide open.
