Everton chase Wilmar Barrios

The Boca Juniors midfielder had previously been linked with a move to Tottenham, but according to the aforementioned source, Everton have now emerged as contenders for his signature.

However, Boca are reluctant to part with one of their star men and are adamant that any interested party will have to play his €18m release clause to lure him away from the club.

The 24-year-old is a Colombia international and has impressed since moving to the Argentine top flight in 2016.
