Everton and Wolves monitor Pepe as Villarreal seek contract renewal

Current Villareal player Nicolas Pepe has become a key figure for the Spanish side in their race to qualify for the Champions League, making 24 appearances and contributing two goals since joining the club last summer.
The Ivory Coast international, who previously played for Arsenal, Lille and Nice, has impressed with five assists in La Liga.

However, according to Foot Mercato, Premier League sides Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have expressed interest in signing the 29-year-old forward.
There is also reported interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, who attempted to sign him last season before he chose Villarreal.
