Estudiantes defeated by high flying Newell's Old Boys

Estudiantes La Plata played Newell's Old Boys on matchday 5 of Liga Argentina.

Despite dominating possession of the ball, Estudiantes La Plata came out of the game empty handed. After a goalless first half, Newell's turned on the style in the second 45 minutes. Ramiro Sordo gave his side the lead in the 57th minute thanks to an assist from F.Gonzalez. J.Garro would then double Newell's Old Boys lead in minute 72, profiting from a J.Garcia assist, securing all three points for the away team. 

Newell's Old Boys are undefeated and sit at the top of the league, whilst Estudiantes are in 10th.
