Enzo Millot snubs La Liga side Atletico for Al-Ahli switch

Atletico Madrid will miss out on their prized asset as they look to complete a stellar squad. After a significant investment this summer to close the gap on Barcelona and Real Madrid in the title race, Enzo Millot will ultimately not be joining the Rojiblancos.

The Stuttgart player was Atletico's main target to finalise Simeone's squad. However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Frenchman has been swayed by the offer from Al-Ahli.

Another talented player lured by Saudi Arabian football as they aim to establish themselves as one of the world's top leagues. Indeed, there is already a verbal agreement between the player and the club, pending an agreement with Stuttgart.

Neither Atletico Madrid nor Tottenham, the clubs that had initially shown interest in Millot, can compete with Saudi Arabia's financial muscle when it comes to attracting players.
