Eintracht Frankfurt keep Kristijan Jakic

Eintracht Frankfurt and Kristijan Jakic will continue to work together in the future. The Croatian, who arrived on a one-year loan from Dinamo Zagreb at the end of August, will receive a contract until 2026 after the purchase option has been activated.

In his first season in Germany, the 25-year-old midfielder played in 38 of a possible 44 games upon his arrival, setting a new Bundesliga record with his goalscoring debut on matchday 15 against Bayer Leverkusen.

The Croatian's contract will now run until 2026 after Eintracht Frankfurt paid around 3.5 million euros for the purchase option.
