Eibar signs former Tottenham striker

Fernando Llorente is Eibar's newest striker. The former Spurs, Juve and Napoli striker comes back to LaLiga for the first time since the 2015-16 season, when he played for Sevilla.
The forward had to go under medical examination at 11:00 on Wednesday, on what was the first step of his new challenge.
Llorente will sign his contract on Wednesday according to 'Marca' and he will be officially unveiled as an Eibar player in the next couple of hours. The 2010 World Cup winner signs for free after his spell at Udinese.
Eibar already announced how both parties already reached an agreement: "Sociedad Deportiva Eibar has reached an agreement in principle with Fernando Llorente for the incorporation of the striker until the end of the season, subject to passing his medical. The player is currently undergoing various medical tests at IMQ, the official Medical Insurer of the club. In the next few hours the information will be expanded".
Before his signing for Eibar, the former Athletic player was training in San Sebastian waiting for an offer, as the 36-year-old has no intention of retiring just yet.
Fernando Llorente will play in the Spanish second decision after 285 games in LaLiga, where he played for eleven seasons.
