Dro Fernandez on his Barca debut goal: "First time with the best club in the world"

Barcelona's first pre-season friendly ended in a 3-1 victory for Hansi Flick's side. Despite only playing just over 13 minutes, Dro Fernandez was one of the most exciting players for the 'Azulgranas'. The academy player, just 17 years old, scored one of the goals to beat Vissel Kobe in the first stop of their Asian tour.
"Incredible, really. I was a bag of nerves when I came on, but the first chance fell to me and it went in. Very happy and now it's time to continue," the young academy player responded when asked about what he felt when he stepped onto the pitch and shared the turf with the first team players.
At 17 years old, he felt that debut buzz: "It was my first time with the best club in the world and I was very nervous. Hansi calmed me down a bit, and so did my team-mates. I'm grateful for the trust and now I have to keep going."
Dro Fernandez turned 17 in January and last season he played most of the season with Barça's second youth team. For the time being, Flick seems to like him. Born in the Philippines, he has already participated in the Under 15, 16 and 17 categories for Spain.
