DR Congo and Morocco draw World Cup play-off final first leg

DR Congo hosted Morocco in the first leg at the Stade des Martyrs stadium in Kinshasa and it's all to play for going into the second game on Tuesday after a 1-1 draw.
The home side took the lead with just 12 minutes on the clock when Brentford's Yoane Wissa scored. That is the way it remained until half-time, but Morocco fought back in the second half.
The Moroccans were awarded a penalty kick in the 55th minute after a handball in the box, but the spot kick was blazed over the bar by Ryan Mmae. However, Morocco finally got their reward in the 76th minute when Tarik Tissoudali found the back of the net.
DR Congo ended the contest with 10 men after Ngonda Muzinga was given his marching orders by the referee.
The second leg takes place on Tuesday at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca at 21:30 CET. A reminder that the away goals rule is in operation and the winner will go through to the World Cup.
