Douglas Costa to miss the end of the league season and the Lyon game

Bad news for Juventus. The Turin based side will have to go into the last few matches of the season without Douglas Costa. 

The striker got injured in the defeat of his team against Udinese and he will be out for at least 15 days. Therefore, he will miss the last three Serie A matches and the important last 16 second leg tie against Lyon. 

The Italian outfit reported the injury of the 29 year-old player in an official statement: "Douglas Costa had a scan at J Medical this Friday which revealed a grade two injury to the long adductor muscle in his right thigh. He will be reassessed in 15 days."

Therefore, the former Bayern Munich man will be subjected to new tests in a couple of weeks time so he could get game time in the quarter-finals if Juve knock out Lyon.
