Dortmund struggling without Haaland

Borussia Dortmund have a big problem without Haaland, who has been sidelined since the end of January with muscle issues. The biggest problem is that of the Europa League, in which the German team are floundering.
The 2-4 home defeat to Rangers is serious proof of the problem that Marco Rose's team has. Dortmund need to react against Borussia Monchengladbach to continue their hunt of the Bundesliga leaders.
"We played erratic and stupid football. We made the other team better beacuse we weren't looking for the simple option and we overcomplicated the play", said Hummels on Thursday, conscious of Haaland's importance.
The Norwegian forward, with his future up in the air, has scored 23 goals in the Bundesliga, Champions League and German cup this season. His importance to the team as the spearhead of the attack, goes beyond his sensational numbers for the club.
Bayern's recent bad results have given Dortmund a fighting chance in the battle for the title. Although the team in black and yellow are not enjoying their best of moments, Rose's job is not in danger. The next few weeks however, will be key.
