Eric Dier looked was seemingly headed towards the exit door just a few months ago, but recent reports have informed that the Englishman could now extend his stay in Germany for at least another year.
According to Florian Plettenberg, negotiations are underway between the former Spurs defender and Bayern Munich to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the current season, until June 2026.
Despite not enjoying much playing time under Vincent Kompany this term, it is understood that Dier's recent performances have impressed enough to change the Bundesliga giants' minds over his future at the club.
The 30-year-old had only made five starts across all competitions from September to January, but turned his fortunes around after registering the same amount in the past two months - February and March.
