Derby agree Marriott fee with Peterborough

The two clubs confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that a deal had been agreed for the 23-year-old, who is now free to discuss personal terms and take a medical with the 'Rams'.
Whilst neither side confirmed a fee, it is understood that 'Posh' will receive around £3m up front, with a further £2m in potential add-ons.
A host of other clubs were interested in Marriott, including Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Ranger, but barring any Malcom-esque hitches he now looks set to become a Derby player.
Marriott only joined Peterborough from Luton last usmmer, but he lit up League One during his maiden campaign, scoring 33 goals in all competitions.
Born in Beverley, Marriott came through the ranks at Ipswich, before moving to Luton in search of first-team football in 2015.
