Demirovic could leave four million in the Alavés coffers

Alavés' summer market could start with a big piece of business. Demirovic is one of their surplus to requirements- he has been on loan for two seasons - and could bring in four million euros. This is what, according to Marca, Freiburg are willing to pay for him.
It would be a most profitable deal for Alavés. The Bosnian's market value is 1.5 million euros, so not only would they let a footballer leave who has not enjoyed a single minute in two years, but they would do so by earning more than twice what he is worth.
This season, he was at St Gallen, one of the best teams in the Swiss League. He played 25 matches for them, started 24, and scored 13 goals. It is one of the best figures of his career since he left RB Leipzig under 19s.
Curiously, it might be worth his while to return to Germany, as since he left Leipzig for Spain, he hasn't returned. He never had the chance to make his Bundesliga debut: if Freiburg trust in him and he completes this transfer, it will be his chance to do so.
