Dani Rodriguez suffers shoulder dislocation on first-team debut

What was meant to be an unforgettable evening for Dani Rodriguez quickly turned into a nightmare. The La Masia graduate lasted just 38 minutes on the pitch at the Jose Zorrilla Stadium before being forced off with a shoulder injury.
The forward went down in clear discomfort following a challenge with Valladolid's Adam Aznou, immediately signalling to the bench for a substitution. He left the field with heavy strapping on his shoulder, and the worst fears were confirmed shortly afterwards - a dislocation of the right shoulder.
"Barca Atletic player Dani Rodriguez has suffered an acute dislocation of the right shoulder during the match between Valladolid and Barcelona. The player will return to Barcelona and will undergo further tests to determine the full extent of the injury," read the official medical statement.
Barcelona's first team also shared the update from their B team's official channels. It marks yet another setback for the promising youngster, whose season has been repeatedly disrupted by injury—this being his third of the campaign, and yet another issue affecting his shoulder.
