Cunha set to join Manchester United in £62.5 million deal

Manchester United have had the worst season in their Premier League history, sitting in 16th place with just one game to go before the end of the season.

As a result, the Red Devils' board are keen to provide Ruben Amorim with the necessary reinforcements ahead of next season to avoid another embarrassment in the English top flight, and the first to arrive at Old Trafford this summer will be Matheus Cunha.

The Wolves star was on the Mancunian side's radar and has finally agreed personal terms with the club, who will pay the Wanderers his £62.5million release clause.

Cunha has made 34 appearances for Wolves this season, scoring 17 goals and assisting four times to put him on the radar of the Premier League giants.
