Coutinho put it on a plate for Suarez to tuck home
Girona actually took the lead early on but that was soon forgotten as the Barca onslaught began.
A goal from Suarez and a brace from Lionel Messi quickly saw Barca go 3-1 up but they weren't done there as they found a fourth almost on the stroke of half-time.
Messi raced goalwards from deep before feeding Philippe Coutinho out wide and the Brazilian kept his cool to square for Suarez to tuck home from close range for his second of the game.
