Conor Bradley 'flying' at start of Liverpool career

The match between Liverpool and Chelsea on matchday 22 of the Premier League left a big news for Klopp beyond the crushing win. Young right-back Conor Bradley stole the show for the Reds, despite having the difficult role of replacing Alexander-Arnold.

The young Red starlet scored his first goal for the Anfield outfit and also provided two assists. During the match we could see his ability to join the attack and his strength and pace. His goal came after a good drive and a low effort that was impossible for Petrovic to save. With his second assist, he easily dribbled past Badiashile and set up Szoboszlai with a pin-point cross.

In fact, nobody missed Arnold, who, in the 68th minute, came on to replace the Northern Irishman, as he did in the FA Cup match against Norwich in which he contributed another two assists. Since the England defender was injured against Fulham in the Carabao Cup match, Bradley has made the most of his chance in the starting XI.

The whole of Anfield embraced the youngster and he received a well-deserved ovation when he was substituted. Liverpool, Klopp and the fans now know that there is a solid alternative if Alexander-Arnold is sidelined, something unthinkable just a month ago after seeing the good level the Englishman was showing this season.

Even the German coach praised the young defender after the win over the Blues. "He is incredible. The fans were already singing his name. He is flying and rightly so. He is working hard and he is a great footballer," he said.
