Cold shower for Barca: Lautaro and Calhanoglou strike for Inter

Inter Milan have one foot in the Champions League final after Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu struck to send them with a two-goal cushion in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.
A similar pattern from the first leg followed at the Giuseppe Meazza: Hansi Flick's men were all out in attack, while the Nerazzurri were happy to sit back and respond on the counter. Barca kept on knocking on the door, but it was Inter who took the lead.
Simone Inzaghi's side were given a clear chance after Barca cheaply lost possession in defence. Denzel Dumfries, who has been Inter's main threat going forward, sent a pinpoint pass in the middle for skipper Lautaro Martinez to roll in the back of the net.
A bright 45 minutes from Lamine Yamal were not enough for the Catalans to get past Sommer, and soon enough, Inter found their second goal. Mkhitaryan released Lautaro through on goal, but Cubarsi tackled the Argentine before he could get the shot on.
Referee Marciniak, called to the VAR monitor to review the challenge, pointed to the spot after looking back at the incident. Calhanoglu stepped up and converted to double the hosts' lead. Barca have another half to turn their fortunes around and save their quadruple dream.
