Liverpool needed just two minutes to take the lead in a friendly against Bayern Munich. Cody Gakpo made it clear that he was going to establish himself at the Reds this year with an incredible finish.

Although it looked like the friendly match between Bayern Munich and Liverpool was going to be fairly evenly matched, the start left some surprised.

The Reds needed just two minutes to shock Tuchel's side after Cody Gakpo scored the opening goal following an incredible move.

The Dutchman played a lovely one-two with Diogo Jota and ran through on goal to finish brilliantly.

The former PSV striker was signed by the English club in January 2023 after his incredible World Cup campaign with the Netherlands. The 24-year-old striker made 26 official appearances in his first season with Liverpool, 22 starts, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists.
