Clemente rules out replacing Zubeldia, Zaldua and Dani Garcia

The Basque Country coach, Javier Clemente, has decided not to replace Igor Zubeldia, Joseba Zaldua and Dani Garcia who have been ruled out at the last minute. Therefore, the Basque Country have a 19 man squad for the match on Monday with Costa Rica in Eibar.

The Basque FA confirmed that these three players are out, Zubeldia and Zaldua based on "the medical report sent yesterday by Real Sociedad" and Dani Garcia because he is self-isolating. Athletic Bilbao say that he has been in close contact with Jokin Ezkieta who has tested positive for COVID.

Ekzieta was replaced by third choice GK Aritz Castro of Alaves on Friday.
