City to make final attempt to ward Brahim Diaz off Madrid move

Manchester City are prepared to make one final bid to prevent academy starlet Brahim Diaz from returning to his native Spain with Real Madrid.
It has long since been rumoured that the European Champions have been monitoring the young forward, but City are desperate for him not to slip through their fingers like fellow starlet Jadon Sancho, who is now making waves in the Bundesliga.
According to 'The Sun', Brahim is set to be made one more offer to stay in Manchester.
So far, the 19 year old has said to have refused numerous contract offers, the most recent of which was said to be worth £25,000-per-week including bonuses.
The player's agent is even Pere Guardiola, the brother of the current 'Citizens' boss, yet it seems the player is keen on securing more playing time.
Should no agreement be made, the player will be free to talk to other clubs as soon as January; Real Madrid are thought to be lining up an £8 million bid for the player.
City lost fellow prospect Jadon Sancho in a similar situation in August, and it seems that no matter what they offer Diaz, he is set to follow his former teammate out of the exit door at the Etihad.
