City target Renan Lodi: Atletico price him at 70 million

Renan Lodi has a contract with Atletico until 2025. He is happy in Madrid, but his future could be far from the Spanish capital.

Last season, the Brazilian played 42 games for the Madrid side. He started 19 of them. He scored four goals and provided five assists, because as well as being great at the back, he is also an effective attacking midfielder whenever he has the chance. And all this has been taken into account by Pep Guardiola to include him in his shortlist, or so 'The Telegraph' says.

City are reportedly looking for a left-back and Renan Lodi has attracted the attention of the Mancunian club. According to the aforementioned media, the Cityzens would have a place for him in the 2022-23 season.

Atletico, according to 'The Telegraph', have already set a starting price for Renan Lodi in case City decide to make a bid for him. From 70 million they would be willing to send him to Manchester.

City's other options for the position include Borussia's Guerreiro, Stuttgart's Sosa, Arsenal's Tierney and Wolves' Ait-Nouri. It remains to be seen if the club decides on any of them in the closing stages of the market.
