City goalkeeper Angus Gunn linked with £15m Saints move

The 22-year-old spent the season on loan at Championship club Norwich City, and featured in every single one of their league games, gaining the attention of several Premier League outfits. 

However, it is Southampton who are hoping to secure Gunn's services, as they battle to retain their top flight status, following a brush with relegation last campaign. 

Saints boss Mark Hughes is seeking out reinforcements in goal, given that Fraser Forster has not featured since Boxing Day after Alex McCarthy took over the number one shirt.

Although Manchester City are reportedly willing to let their shotstopper leave, it is expected that they will include a buy-back clause into any contract that could see Gunn return to the Etihad in the future.
