Christensen remains out as Barca reveal squad for Athletic Bilbao game

Barcelona have revealed their squad for the La Liga match with Athletic Bilbao. The Catalans have to win to try and keep up the pace with Real Madrid in the fight to win La Liga. In any case, Andreas Christensen is still out of the squad. 

The full squad list is the following: Ter Stegen, Bellerin, Pique, Busquets, Dembele, Pedri, Lewandowski, Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres, Marcos Alonso, Jordi Alba, Franck Kessie, Sergi Roberto, Raphinha, Kounde, Eric García, Inaki Pena, Alex Balde, Gavi, Pablo Torre and Arnau Tenas. It is worth mentioning that Gavi won both the Golden Boy and the Kopa Trophy earlier this week.

Eyes will also be on the touchline as Athletic Bilbao coach Ernesto Valverde returns to the club he left a few seasons ago. Fans will probably show appreciation for him at the ground.

Now, his opposite number Xavi is going through a tough time and he himself is aware that he could end up being sacked. The aim for this season was to make the last 16 of the Champions League without too much difficulty. That has now become a very complicated task. In La Liga, he was also recently beaten in 'El Clasico'.
