'Chofis' López with coronavirus symptoms

Despite beating Mazatlán and going through to the semi-finals of the Copa por México, 'Chofis' López' was the one who was the centre of attention after the match.

The player didn't play and his manager explained why he didn't get any game time. Luis Fernando Tena informed that the player was isolated for showing coronavirus symptoms.

"'Chofis' was tested because his girlfriend had symptoms and tested negative. When he arrived at the stadium he felt bad, had a fever, was weak and went home. This Sunday he will be tested again", the manager said.
